Leighs come out on top after customer survey
Leighs Paints have recently commissioned a customer satisfaction survey to find out if they are indeed the ‘customers first choice’. The results have been overwhelmingly positive with Leighs Paints given a satisfaction rating in the top 13% of all companies. Some time ago Leighs Paints decided that it was time that they got to know what their customers really thought of them, to make sure that they were focusing on the right areas for improvement. Leighs commissioned independent research on their behalf and the results have now been concluded. Over 200 key and target customers took part in the survey, which questioned product quality, delivery, technical enquiries, field sales calls, documentation, staff attitude and advice. The results were then compiled and correlated to a sample of over 500 companies from banks to football clubs which gave Leighs Paints a satisfaction score in the top 13% of all companies and the top 10% of manufacturing companies. Not bad for a first customer satisfaction survey! Some of the highlights of the survey were that almost a quarter of those surveyed, rely on Leighs Paints to supply all their paint requirements. Also when asked for a comparison with our competitors Leighs achieved the highest overall satisfaction level. Helen Tiplady project leader of the customer satisfaction survey had this to say: “I would like to thank all the customers who gave up their time to take part in the survey, their comments have made interesting reading. Although the result was very positive we are not going to be complacent. The survey brought out a number of areas in which our customers would like to see improvements. In the next few weeks we will be tackling these issues, so next time our score will be even higher!”
