Leigh brings with him a wealth of experience. Most recently he has spent 3 years in the Technical Services Department working closely with customers on the practical application of Leighs coatings. Before this, Leigh spent 2 years in sales and 11 years as a painting contractor.
Leigh is taking over from Steve Howard, who will be winding down to retirement by working part time for the next two years. Allowing Leigh time to build up a relationship with the customers ensuring a smooth transition.
Anthony Ward, UK & International Market Manager Steel and Fire had this to say on the appointment:
“The North East of England has always been an important region for Leighs Paints and Leigh Hyde's appointment ensures we have an experienced and capable successor to take the reins from a key member of the team such as Steve.”
