| Cheers!… Here’s To Looking At A Brighter Future! | |
| Bright white lines that last and reduce accidents - your wish is our command!
Since 2003 NiteSite has made the A556 a safer road by reducing the number of accidents by over half. A structured, cold plastic road marking (also known as MMA), NiteSite shines and stands out in wet and dark conditions. Providing excellent wet night visibility means the driver can travel safely by seeing the edge and curvature of the road ahead. As more vehicles travel on our roads than ever before, the Department of Transport (DoT) is increasingly looking at user safety. NiteSite allows authorities to take significant steps towards achieving the DoT 40% accident reduction target by 2010. Graham Harper, Senior Technical Advisor for Cheshire County Council, quotes: “At the four year evaluation point, NiteSite is exceeding Cheshire’s two year performance requirements, with retro-reflectivity values of over 230mcd/m2/lux dry and 118mcd/m2/lux in the wet, which is very impressive compared to traditional thermoplastic markings. It’s clear and simple - NiteSite reduces accidents and helps to save lives. |
