Developed using Polyurea technology, PolySpeed P500 is set to lead the way and make positive changes within the secondary containment and effluent tanks sector. The unique properties in PolySpeed P500 clearly serve a wide range of industries including the food, brewery, chemical, power generation and waste treatment segments. Listening to their needs, we realised that time is an increasingly precious commodity. PolySpeed P500 provides the optimal solution; a product that gives a fast return to service. An ideal lining coating for this emerging UK market, PolySpeed P500 sets itself apart due to unique benefits and advantages of Polyurea technology. PolySpeed P500 can stick to any shape and has a cure time of less than 60 seconds! - enabling organisations to get back to their normal working activities within a short period. The fast cure time also means PolySpeed P500 is suitable for application in confined spaces as operators can feel at ease knowing the coating can be instantly touched. Solvent free, PolySpeed P500 is a high build material and in most cases a single application is sufficient to coat a surface. The high build feature also serves the stand alone requirements for degrading structures and has an estimated life of over 50 years (dependent on service conditions). The Polyurea chemistry prevents any reaction with water or surface moisture. The chemistry also gives excellent resistance against abrasion and a wide range of chemicals; especially alkalines. For hygiene purposes, PolySpeed P500 can be easily cleaned using a pressure washer. The tough exterior allows the applicator to hold the jet head only 1” away from the surface without damaging the coating. Dependent on formula, PolySpeed P500 can also be twisted, bent and stretched up to nearly 4 times it’s original state - fantastic for creating scenery in the film industry! All in all a remarkable coating, PolySpeed P500 combines speed and flexibility of application in combination with a very fast cure time.
