Part of Leighs Paints range of vessel and tank linings, PolySpeed is something special.
Created using polyurea technology this coating offers:
- Fast cure (a tack free time of 3 seconds)
- A return to service for foot traffic in 60 seconds
- High build - able to coat most surfaces in a single application
- 100% solids, therefore no VOC issue
- Abrasion and corrosion protection
- Thermal stability

- Secondary Containment - increasingly important to comply with legislation on environment contamination
Application can take place on a variety of different substrates (concrete and metals).
The fast cure time is ideal for use in confined spaces. Applicators can feel at ease knowing the coating can be instantly touched.
As PolySpeed is a high build product, this serves the stand alone requirement for degrading structures.
PolySpeed is often used as a vessel and tank lining to extend the life of older structures.
It has an estimated life of over 50 years (determined by service conditions).
Another unique feature of polyurea technology is that, highly adaptable. Dependant of formula, PolySpeed P500 can also be twisted, bent and stretched up to nearly four times its original state!
PolySpeed also allows application in a wide range of temperature and humidity environments.
