Silver Standard Sustainability at First Attempt!

At the beginning of March Leighs Paints were audited by the BCSA (British Constructional Steelwork Association) 'Steel Construction Sustainability Charter' and were awarded a silver standard at their first attempt. The Steel Construction Sustainability Charter (SCSC) has been developed to promote economic viability, social progress and environmental responsibility amongst the BCSA membership. In practical terms, this means those who have achieved the standard have put into place a number of measures to ensure continuious improvement and environmental sustainability. This is a fantastic achievement, with the next step a gold standard!
